Our Team

Here at Memorial Montessori, we understand the value of early childhood education. That is why we provide an enriched program targeted to nurture your child’s natural propensity towards learning and instill in them a sense of security for further inquiry. Your child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills will be given the utmost care and attention.

INFANT CARE

We design & implement our curriculum only because we know that children are best served with the quality and care we have set forth to do. It is our teachers’ love for each and every infant that helps the child grow immensely into the successful human beings we hope to see in the future.

TODDLERS

Toddlers are given the time and opportunity to engage in purposeful work to explore language, music, movement, art, practical life activities, and fine and gross motor activities that meet their individual developmental needs.

PRE-SCHOOL

The Montessori method at our preschool in Sugarland, TX, utilizes exercises and material in the classroom that await each child’s “moment of discovery” in various areas. The materials are innately enticing, appealing to the child’s natural interests and instincts, and actively engage them in “academic discovery,” learning, and work.

PRIMARY

Our program for your primary school child aims at giving your child a wholesome environment – one where your child develops socially, academically, and emotionally. We help your child learn responsibility the easy way – by putting many elements of fun in the things he/she has to do daily, be it homework, studying, helping around the house, or taking care of his things.

Jeff Bezos’s mother said “Young Jeff would get so engrossed in his activities as a Montessori preschooler that his teachers would literally have to pick him up out of his chair to go to the next task.”

Thomas Edison

“I like the Montessori method. It teaches through play. It makes learning a pleasure. It follows the natural instincts of the human being. The present system casts the brain into a mold. It does not encourage original thought or reasoning.”

Founder of Google

Larry Page

“I think it was part of that training of not following rules and orders, and being self motivated, questioning what’s going on in the world and doing things a little bit differently.”
